FAQ

Manufacturing times

Production times may vary, with standard lead times typically ranging from 10 to 12 working days. For urgent orders, express options are available at an additional cost of 15%, with production completed within 5 working days.

Cleaning roller blinds

For Roller blinds, spot clean spills with a mild detergent and warm water using a clean cloth. Gently dab the area and avoid rubbing. Let the damp blind air dry. Regular light dusting helps prevent dirt buildup.

Cleaning venetian blinds

We suggest gently cleaning your venetian blinds regularly, ideally at least once a month. Close the slats and wipe them down with a microfiber cloth on both sides. You can also use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment on a low setting.

Measuring reveal or fix face

Reveal:

For inside/reveal fitted blinds, they're installed within the window opening. Measure using the "tight" measurement for both width and drop, using a metal tape. The factory will make slight deductions to ensure proper fitting. Measure in three places for both width and drop, using the smallest measurements.

Note that the brackets and operating mechanism are included in the width you order. The fabric will be slightly narrower than the opening, resulting in light gaps on each side.

Fix face:

Blinds for outside fit are installed outside the window opening. Measure the recess size, then add extra on all sides for proper coverage. No deductions will be made from the measurements provided.

Note that when measuring the width, you're measuring for the bracket placement, not the fabric width. The fabric on a roller blind will be approximately 31mm narrower than the width you provide.

Roller blind direction

Forward rolled:

Blinds have the roll towards the window side, providing a neat appearance inside the room. This design effectively prevents the fabric from touching handles or other obstructions when the blind is lowered.

Back rolled:

Blinds have the fabric rolling off from the back. This configuration is ideal for face-fitted blinds, minimizing any light gaps.

Blind deductions

For blinds mounted inside the reveal, no deductions should be made; the factory will handle this adjustment. For outside-mounted face fix blinds, provide the measurement from outside bracket to outside bracket.

How to measure blinds?

Our blinds are tailored to your precise measurements, ensuring a perfect fit. Accurate measurements are crucial to avoid any fitting issues. Considerations such as the desired finish, whether it's a reveal or face fix, and potential obstacles like wall tiles or door handles are essential. Refer to our measurement guide below for accurate sizing instructions. If uncertain, feel free to reach out for our complimentary measuring service, with no obligation.

Measuring tips

- Ensure you use a steel tape measure or laser measure for accurate readings. Measurements should be in millimeters (width x drop or height). Even if windows seem identical, measure each unit individually.

- When ordering, specify if you want "reveal fix" or "face fix" blinds. You can either provide the recess size and we'll adjust accordingly, or specify the finished size you desire. Clearly indicate what you're providing (measured sizes or desired sizes).

- Specify if you want your blinds reveal fixed; a standard valance is included with reveal fix blinds.
