ITE WX

LEVELiTe® WX is a fibre-reinforced self-levelling screed and smoothing compound specifically developed for use over wooden substrates, achieving strengths of up to 20MPa. It is suitable for application over solid, well-bonded wooden floors, cementitious screeds, power-floated concrete, ground non-water-soluble adhesive residues, and soundly adhered ceramic or similar surfaces.

The product can typically be walked on after 3–4 hours. Coverage is approximately 1.4kg per m² per 1mm thickness. For example, a 20kg bag will cover roughly 4.7m² at an average thickness of 3mm.

Proper priming is essential. BONDiTe® primer and bonding agent must be used when applying LEVELiTe® WX over raw, uncoated wood or cementitious substrates. It acts as a pore sealer, maintaining flow life and preventing air bubbles from rising through the screed. All surfaces should be primed with BONDiTe® prior to application.

For very smooth or non-absorbent surfaces — such as sealed wooden floors, epoxy-coated moisture barriers, or ceramic tiles — it is essential to apply iTe SLURRY® to promote inter-coat adhesion and/or lightly grind the surface to improve bonding. Any waxes or oils must be sanded off before priming and application.
